Kittiwake Apartment (Sleeps 4)
We have had a lovely week at Kittiwake apartment.
A lovely space and very clean. Comfortable beds and beautiful toiletries.
Our Cockapoo loved running on the beaches. There are many beaches along the coast.
A visit to St Andrews is a must if only to see the famous golf course!
Kittiwake is very well stocked with everything you need. The only thing I would change is some good kitchen knives!
The views from the kitchen and lounge are just fabulous. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats come and go.
Had dinner at the Dory Bistro. Highly recommended.
Thank you Kirsten for a lovely stay
My wife and I along with a friend stayed at the Kittiwake apartment in Pittenweem, wonderful accommodation and a great base to explore the East Neuk of Fife. Will definitely make a return visit to explore more of the area.
My husband, daughter, dog & I stayed in the beautiful Kittiwake Apartment in October. It is lovely accommodation, beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need. We had lovely weather during our stay & the view from the Apartment is stunning. My daughter is desperate for us to return. Hopefully we'll be back again soon.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Smugglers Neuk apartment in Cellardyke in September and it was brilliant. The apartment has everything and more that you would want. It is very clean and has some lovely touches. Kristen is really responsive and helpful too. The East Neuk of Fife is a lovely part of the country in general and the location of the apartment allows you to explore it all well. We would love to come back.
My hubby and I stayed at the converted Coach House in Pitterweem the first week in June. If the building was very picturesque and a delightful surprise then the interior was amazing!!! It was light and airy and very tastefully decorated throughout in very calming and neutral colours with beautiful comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, although a couple of tea trays would have been useful. The upstairs bedrooms were wonderfully luxurious with bedding that was a delight to curl up into each night. The bathrooms thick towels and white soft dressing gowns just made you feel very pampered and relaxed. It was a joy to come back to each day after exploring. Kirsten & Derek were very welcoming and friendly and only live next door.
We had a very tasty meal in the Dory Restaurant on the pretty Pittenweem harbour just a short stroll away. The neighbouring Anstruther harbour was a favourite place to go to, which you can get to by a coastal walk or 10 minutes by road, was a great place to relax on the beach or sit and people watch with little shops and boats.
We thoroughly recommend the delights of The Coach House for a relaxing holiday.
Just had a lovely few days at Jasmine Cottage in Kilconquhar. What a beautiful little village and not too far from some beautiful walks with fabulous scenery. Jasmine cottage is well kitted out, very homely and comfortable. Great fully enclosed garden which is always a bonus when you have dogs. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be going back.
lovely mini break, fantastic bed, lovely touches around the property, hope to return to smugglers in the very near future
Super little apartment in Cellardyke with everything needed for our 3 night stay. Parking wasn’t an issue. Fantastic location for sights and restaurants within walking distance. Excellent base to explore the beautiful East Neuk of Fife.
We've stayed in Smugglers Well on a number of occasions and we just love it. There is everything you need in the cottage and on your doorstep for a relaxing holiday away from everything. It's particularly dog friendly with a lovely tiered enclosed garden, with a number of seating areas. Anstruther is a few minutes walk where you can find a number of local shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaway's, Chinese is actually two minutes away and highly recommended. The whole Fife coast is magical with St Andrews a short drive away. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you Kirsten.
Great stay...everything we could possibly needed was supplied...parking a wee bit of an issue but that's to be expected...super comfy bed...only wee niggle would be the blinds in the living area ..blackouts wouldve been magic given we used the area as an additional sleeping area other than that I'm looking forward to re booking...highly recommended 9.5 out of 10
We recently stayed in Smugglers Neuk and had a lovely break for a few days. Parking near the accommodation wasn't a problem. We found a spot and stayed put using public transport to other villages to eat so my husband could have a drink with dinner.
There was everything we needed apart from one vital item - a teapot as we're avid tea drinkers! :-) Seriously though, it was very well furnished and equipped. I have health conditions which make my joints ache a lot and I can verify the bed here is ultra-comfortable. Towels were plentiful and fluffy robes supplied too.
We had a lovely trip to the Isle of May on the boat (not the fast rib) and I'd recommend pre-booking as we did in busier months as it sold out. Our Heritage Scotland cards got good use in St Andrews for the castle and cathedral. There's a lot to see in this area and Cellardyke, Smuggles Neuk was a perfect base, thank you.
